It has been truly my pleasure to be involved with this club for a number of years now.
I have made alot of new friends and learned a great deal about bass fishing and life in general through my association with it.
I have had a web designing and hosting company for about 2 years now and wanted a place were we could store information about the club for easy access for most of our members.
(the exception being those not online)
There are a zillion bass sites out there with links to this... and links to that... some becoming monsters with so much material.
That was never my intention with this site.
I wanted it to reflect the feel of this club... the friendship and the mood of it.
I have been in a number of clubs...some good...some not so good. I have started clubs and even ran one tournament circuit with some friends at one point....and they all had high stress levels...where winning and whining were the most important things and how much money you could pocket.
This is not the case with this club. These guys fish for the pure pleasure of it... and isn't that what it's suppose to be about?
If I wanted only to fish for a buck than I would fish nothing but tournaments.
I guess what I'm trying to say is thank you for a place that I can fish and enjoy others
company and share the experience with fellow anglers.
As for what direction this site will take...as time and energy permits...I would like to
see it grow into a place for learning about the sport as well as a reflection of the club
and it's members.
If you live in the Sacramento area and would like to meet a great bunch of guys...
please drop by to one of our meetings and we have guests fish all the time...so you can
do that too if you like.
We meet the first Tuesday of the month at Mountain Mike's Pizza in the Pocket area near
Forin Rd. Or see the map:O)
Our rules are simple....the people friendly.
