Ten
RCbassmaster club members launched out of Lucerne this past
Saturday. We usually
launch out of Redbud but we feared the chance of heavy algae plooms.
The
north side of the lake looked like the Delta in some areas--grass mats.
The water temp was between 75 and 79 deg. Majority of the
boats
fished north of the narrows and found at least one fish per boat.
Although we were able to find clean water, the fish were just not
cooperating. After it was all said and done, only one boat
managed a
limit. The big fish of the day was 3 lbs 4 oz. Guys
described the
bite as very soft and they would only feel the added weight of the fish
when
bit. The winds picked up around noon and made it a challenging
drive back to the ramp.
